Pentimento

A painter’s subject comes to life...spooky?...a little. Peculiar?...definitely. Pentimento is a term used in art to describe when a painter changes his or her mind and paints over a part of their painting. The painter is said to have repented.  The rather moody painter in this short story changes her mind and repents...and when she does, her late beloved dog returns to her. (Photo by Cole Keister)
